PAC (PARENT ACCOUNTABILITY COUNCIL)

Latino Network, through its partnership with Early Learning Multnomah (ELM), endeavors to prepare every child in Multnomah County to succeed in school and life, regardless of race, ethnicity, and class.

PAC (PARENT ACCOUNTABILITY COUNCIL)

As Multnomah County’s early learning hub, ELM works to make early learning resources and supports more accessible and effective. The hub oversees countywide coordination of early learning services focusing on:

  • Kindergarten readiness

  • Stable and attached families

  • System alignment

The voices of Latino Network’s parents and families are pivotal to this work.

Latino Network recruits Latino parent participants of the Juntos Aprendemos, Creciendo Juntos Soñando Juntos and P-3 programs to serve alongside other parents on the ELM Parent Accountability Council. This Council ensures that parent voices from communities of color drive decision-making and strategic priorities for ELM.

Latino Network’s Parent Leadership Team brings together a larger group of early childhood program participants to discuss pressing issues revolving around early childhood learning.
